Sustainable OKC currently has four committees: Projects and Education, Volunteer Management, PR and Marketing, and Development and Fundraising. All of our committees welcome volunteers! If you’re unsure about what you want to do, or if you have other interests, drop us a line and we’ll discuss how we can work together.

Projects and Education

• Green Building Resource Guide: We are putting together a guide for homeowners and industry professionals to use as a resource for identifying green building products.  The guide will provide information about materials and products that are available locally.  Email Ken to get involved.

Volunteer Management

• SOKC appreciates our volunteers, and the Volunteer Management Committee works to take care of them. Join the team by contacting Shelley.

 Development and Fundraising

• SOKC is growing fast, and fundraising is a part of that process. Shauna is happy to have your help with fundraising activities.  Put the FUN in fundraising by: 
  • Researching and Writing Grants
  • Planning and Organzing Fundraising Events
  • Conducting Fundraising Campaigns
