Green Drinks

Green Drinks is a casual event organized by Sustainable OKC and hosted by Trattoria il Centro to promote conversation, fun, networking, brainstorming, and action among people interested in sustainability. It’s a fun way to meet new people from government, business, non-profits, academia, and all walks of life who are interested in sustainability efforts in our area. Green Drinks started in England in 1989 and now boasts a global reach.

The Trattoria serves a special "green drink," a lemon basil martini (yum!), and local beer, in addition to the regular menu. Appetizers are provided.

We meet quarterly on the third Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. at Trattoria il Centro.  The current schedule is to meet October 2007, January, April, July and October, 2008.  Trattoria il Centro is located in the Montgomery at 500 W Main at the intersection of Main and Walker.  Most street parking is free after business hours. Carpooling is encouraged, and everyone is welcome. Cities in countries all over the world are organizing Green Drinks events. Come be a part of the conversation. Hope to see you there!
